About Us

The Design and Usability Center (DUC) at Bentley University is a global consulting group that provides user experience and usability research, evaluation, and design services. We offer our clients user experience solutions based on a unique combination of in-depth industry expertise and scientific rigor.

Since its foundation in 1999, the DUC has helped hundreds of clients around the world understand their users’ needs and how those needs can be met by intuitive, effective and engaging design.

Collectively, the Senior Staff at the DUC have more than 75 years of experience in the UX field. All projects are lead by the Senior Staff, with support from the center's Research Associates. All Research Associates are pursuing their Master of Science in Human Factors in Information Design at Bentley University.

Our affiliation with the master’s program in Human Factors in Information Design provides the center with unique access to internationally recognized experts and the latest research in the fields of user experience, human factors, usability, and marketing. Our affiliation with the McCallum Graduate School of Business keeps us focused on achieving the business goals of our clients.

Located on the beautiful Bentley University campus, the DUC is less than 30 minutes from downtown Boston. Our state of the art facilities support sophisticated usability testing, focus groups and eye tracking.
